SANDRA is a tender small ginger fluffy ball girl, around 1.5 years old, most likely a Dachshund – Spaniel cross. She’s small, but is overweight.
She can definitely get rid of 2-3 kilos with a healthy diet and good walks. SANDRA is a Ukraine war dog in need of a safe haven. Give him a chance at a new life. He will be arriving in the UK on June 9 and is available for a foster-to-adopt

Rescue Story: SANDRA was found with her Mum and siblings in a hole on a field when she was around 3 months old. One of the rescue volunteers noticed some movements on a field, stopped, and went to see, finding a dog with two puppies (possibly the only who survived).
It became obvious that Mum was a home pet, as she was very sociable and sweet. So, most likely, she was abandoned there. But puppies, raised without humans, were shy. SANDRA has been dreaming about her home for so long now. Let’s help SANDRA find her loving forever home she deserves.
SANDRA is spayed, housetrained, and walks on a lead, but needs to gain confidence first about new humans and new environments.
She has a tender and shy nature and needs a patient and understanding family of dog lovers (can be dog-savvy kids 9+), who will allow her to decompress and gain confidence in a peaceful environment, with no pushing and giving her own path.
But as soon as she comes out of her shell, she will turn into a little sweet love bug, joyful and loving her walks and play.
SANDRA is very much human-oriented, loves cuddles, and adores people whom she knows and trusts. We at the rescue will be happy to provide a lot of advice on how to help her settle and socialize in a new place.

SANDRA is fully healthy. She has all core vaccines done, is microchipped. All dogs are C. Brucella tested before trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
