Lila is a 2 year old female Dachshund Cross, a small-sized bundle of joy at just 35 cm shoulder height and 5-7 kg. LILA is a Ukraine war dog in need of a safe haven and is available for a foster-to-adopt.
In the heart of a war zone, where life was turned upside down, LILA was found in an abandoned village by military personnel. She had her tiny puppies by her side, huddled together for safety amidst the chaos.
The soldiers, moved by the sight of this brave little mother trying to protect her babies, knew they couldn’t leave her behind. They carefully passed her and her pups to rescue volunteers, who opened their doors and hearts, providing them with a safe haven.
Despite the hardship she endured, LILA remains one of the most loving and balanced dogs you could ever meet. She’s incredibly social, with a deep affection for humans. LILA is full of life—cheerful and joyful without being overly energetic, making her a wonderful companion for both active playtimes and quiet cuddles.
Her friendly and communicative nature makes her great with children, and she’s also very friendly with other dogs, easily fitting into a multi-pet household. LILA hasn’t been tested with cats.
LILA is also well-mannered and housetrained, and she walks nicely on a lead. She’s affectionate and loves to cuddle, always ready to offer her love to those around her.
